BMW · Advanced diagnostic & programming services
BMW coding and programming in Pretoria.
BMW is half of what we're known for. Alongside servicing and repairs, we program, code and adapt BMW control modules on supported models, from a single module replacement to full vehicle configuration after a repair.

Why BMW modules need coding
Every BMW is built to a vehicle order: a record of its engine, gearbox, market and every option fitted. Each module is coded against that order.
Fit a module that doesn't match, or leave it uncoded, and the car can throw faults for equipment it doesn't have, or lose functions it does. Coding brings the module into line with the car.

- Module replacedFunctions missing or faults logged after a module swap.
- Key not recognisedImmobiliser warning or a car that won't start.

- Network faultsModules not communicating, often with several warnings together.
- After a repair elsewhereA part was fitted, but the car wasn't coded to accept it.

Dealer-level work, without the trip to the dealer.
We've invested in professional Abrites Full Protocol and TOPDON Phoenix Max diagnostic and programming technology. It lets us carry out advanced electronic procedures on supported VAG, BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Renault and Nissan vehicles, here in Mountain View.
Services are subject to vehicle model, year, control-module type, software version and system compatibility. Phone with the make, model, year and VIN and we'll confirm before you bring the car in.
Questions we get asked
Do I need a BMW dealer for coding and programming?
Not for supported models and procedures. We'll tell you up front if a job needs BMW's own online systems.
Can you register a new battery on my BMW?
Yes. Registration, and coding if the battery type or capacity has changed, is part of every BMW battery job we do. Why it matters.
Do you do MINI as well?
Yes. MINI shares its electronic architecture with BMW, and it's the car on our sign. See MINI coding and programming.
Do you service and repair BMWs too?
Yes. BMW servicing, mechanical and electrical repairs are what the workshop was built on. See the home page.
Another workshop? Send us the programming job.
If you don't have the equipment to finish a coding, programming or key job, we can do that part for you and hand the car back.
BMW with an electronics problem? Call us.
